The Planning Commission was created to assist the Supervisors in planning land use and to review and consider development proposed in the Township. The Board consists of several volunteer Township residents who are knowledgeable about land planning issues in the Township. If you are planning to create additional lots from your property, the Planning Commission is one of the first boards to review your proposal(s). ** Also see note our Conservation Fee section located at the bottom of this page. Meetings: 1st Monday of each month @ 7:00 (unless otherwise noted)
Conservation Fee:
As a Rural Agricultural Community committed to preserving the rural character of the Township, Clinton Township has instituted a Conservation Fee for new residential and commercial dwelling units constructed. This fee of $1,500 per dwelling unit (residential) or building (commercial) constructed will enable the Township to maintain its rural character through the preservation of farmland or creation of greenspace throughout the Township.
